Business Workshop: How to succeed in business & work in spite of Anxiety – April 2012
Hi All
This was an excellent workshop catering for all types of businesses, no matter what stage you are presently at. The host, Ken, was very patient listening to us and allowing us to work the room giving/receiving suggestions from each other openly. Our host in turn gave us tips to take away that related individually, as well as a group, which we could then take away and work on within our businesses.
Although I felt I didnt have any personal anxieties, Ken highlighted areas I could definitely improve on within the business, and I was able to do so right there and then. (Nothing like striking while the iron is hot!) I would recommend this workshop to one and all. It is an eye opener and refreshing. Well done to Ken and his team. Thank you ICOC – Jacalyn Belgrave
@Islchamber belated thanks for a great night. Very proud to pick up an award, given the calibre of businesses. Congrats on a fab event (The Camden and Islington Business Awards) – Camden Town Unlimited

I found the event very good. It was good to explore the connection between individual and business values and brand. Tatiana is a proven professional in her field and engaged delegates in the process of enlightening us. The venue was good. It was very generous of the Chamber to provide catering. Just wanted to thank you for the ‘Inspired Islington’ event. It provided an exciting opportunity to mix with a diverse group of business people. The speeches given during the evening were motivational and inspiring, and the canapes and wine going around were lovely! Jade
Feedback on the Chamber’s Business Waste Recycling Give or Take Day held on the 27th January 2011
“Thank you for our invitation to the Give or Take event. I found it very useful and was able to nab a much needed cupboard for storage and some stationary. Our community centre is always struggling to find money for such items and these will be very well used.” – Irene Walker, Hornsey Lane Estate Community Association.
“Hi Clare, thank you so much for yesterday’s Give or Take Day, it was excellent. We received a small but perfectly formed office desk, which was exactly the shape and size that we haven’t been able to find elsewhere, and it was delivered almost as soon as we got back!”– Zozi Goodman, small business owner.
“Thanks for organising the give and take day. We are really pleased to get some free stationery and ethernet cables! We would definitely be interested in future events”. – Adrian Platt, Conciliation Resources (charity)
